Portuguese activities for the 4th year (Elementary School)

Activity 1: dialogue punctuation

Ability: (EF04LP05) Identify the function in reading and use, appropriately, in writing, full stop, question mark, exclamation mark, colon and dash in dialogues (direct speech), comma in enumerations and in separation of vocative and I bet.

Activity 2: spelling and agreement

Ability: (EF35LP07) When producing a text, use linguistic and grammatical knowledge, such as spelling, basic rules of nominal agreement and verbal, punctuation (full stop, exclamation mark, question mark, commas in enumerations) and direct speech punctuation, when applicable the case.

Activity 3: accentuation in paroxytones

Ability: (EF04LP04) Use graphic accent (acute or circumflex) in paroxytones ending in -i (s), -l, -r, -ão (s).

Activity 4: agreement between personal pronoun and verb

Ability: (EF04LP06) Identify in texts and use in textual production the agreement between noun or personal pronoun and verb (verbal agreement).

Activity 5: nominal agreement

Ability: (EF04LP07) Identify in texts and use in textual production the agreement between article, noun and adjective (agreement in the nominal group).

Activity 6: injunctive text

Ability: (EF04LP13) Identify and reproduce, in instructional injunctive texts (digital or printed game instructions), the formatting specific to these texts (imperative verbs, indication of steps to be followed) and specific format of oral or written texts of these genres (list/presentation of materials and instructions/steps of game).

Activity 7: searching for words in the dictionary

Ability: (EF04LP03) Locate words in the dictionary to clarify meanings, recognizing the most plausible meaning for the context that gave rise to the query.
