The growing concern about the potential threats that Artificial Intelligence (AI) could bring to humanity has generated much debate. However, leaders at the forefront of technology are advocating for a more AI-friendly future.
Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of DeepMind, a specialized AI division of Google, is one such optimist.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Suleyman, current CEO of Inflection AI, shared his vision that, within five years, everyone could benefit from a AI personal assistant, comparable to a digital “chief of staff”.
Such an assistant, according to Suleyman, “will be able to reflect on your day, help prioritize activities, boost creativity and function not only as a research tool, but also as a coach and companion”, explains the businessman.
This perspective is not unique to Suleyman, with many other experts in the field envisioning a scenario in which every individual could be helped by a cyborg assistant.
Technology leaders see the future with intensive AI assistance
Amid the expansion of AI in various sectors, influential leaders project a scenario in which each person will have their own personalized AI assistant.
Sal Khan, founder of the well-known education platform Khan Academy, believes that AI will provide all students with the possibility of having an individual tutor.
Similarly, Bill Gates, in a recent blog post, compared GPT technology to “having a white collar professional” on call constantly.
The practical application is already evident. ChatGPT, for example, has been adopted as an affordable and efficient alternative to personal assistants.

A freelance writer turned to ChatGPT as a “virtual assistant”, optimizing the creation of titles and outlines for his texts, which contributed to reducing his weekly workload to 30 hours.
Additionally, research from a leading company revealed that AI-assisted customer support agents capable of generating suggested answers, demonstrated more satisfaction, productivity and permanence in the position compared to those without the help of AI.
AI revolutionizes personal interactions and everyday activities
AI, particularly ChatGPT, has been increasingly used in daily tasks and interactions, transforming personal experiences in different areas.
Users have applied AI to optimize their everyday activities, from planning family vacations to searching for new apartments.
Surprisingly, ChatGPT also plays a significant role in modernizing online dating profiles.
There are reports of individuals who have managed to improve their flirting skills with the assistance of chatbots, resulting in an increase in the number of dates.
More strikingly, a notable case highlights the diagnostic potential of AI. A mother turned to ChatGPT to identify a mysterious illness that was affecting her son.
Notably, the AI-suggested diagnosis was later confirmed by an expert after 17 human doctors were unable to determine the condition.
These episodes highlight the versatility and untapped potential of this technology in improving not only professional environments, but also personal experiences and decisions.
