How to apply for the card
Applying for the card is done in a very simple way, without the traditional bureaucracy. However, you must be over 18 years old and have a valid CPF to purchase the RioCard Duo card.
In addition, a card membership fee of R$ 14.90 is charged.
Request through the website
The first step to apply for the card is to access the website RioCard Duo and select the card with the desired flag. Then, you will need to provide personal data, such as CPF, email and cell phone number. At the end, click on “I am not a robot” and “Continue”.
After that, a code will be sent via SMS. Enter this code in the space available on the website page and click “Continue”.
In the next step, a form will be made available to fill in with the customer's data, such as address and full name. After that, click on “I declare that I have read and accept the RioCard Duo membership terms” and “Continue”.
The last step is to pay the card membership fee. For this, some payment methods will be offered, select one of the options and click on “Continue”.
After payment confirmation, the order will be completed and it will only be necessary to wait for the arrival of the card at the registered address, within 15 working days.
In addition, there is the possibility of picking up the card at the RioCard Centro store, in Rio de Janeiro, and not paying a delivery fee. This option can be chosen during registration, where both options will be made available.

The process to request the RioCard Duo prepaid card through the application is very simple. Just go to the online store smartphone, Play Store or Apple Sote, and download the RioCard Duo app.
After that, open the application and click on “Order Card”. Then enter the CPF, email and cell phone. Carry out the same verification process via SMS, enter the code in the space available on the screen.
In the next step, choose one of the options to receive the card, click on “I declare that I have read and accept the RioCard Duo membership terms” and “Continue”. Choose one of the fare payment methods.
After confirming payment, the card will be delivered or made available for collection at the store.
