In early March of this year, a normative instruction was published in the Official Gazette (DOU) by the Ministry of Citizenship, the in order to raise forms of identification of pregnant women who fit the guidelines to receive the Pregnant Composition Benefit (BCG). Who is entitled to the benefit?
All those who already have access to the Auxílio Brasil benefit or are registered with CadÚnico are entitled to BCG. However, the pregnant woman must also meet the other requirements of the program. One is that each member of your family group must receive less than R$200.
In addition, if such a family group has more than one pregnant member, if they fit, they will all receive the BCG. Thus contributing to a healthy and risk-free pregnancy for all pregnant women in that family. However, it is forbidden to register a pregnancy after the possible date of delivery, counting 42 weeks from the woman's last menstruation, according to instructions.
Thus, “Each pregnant woman can only receive one BCG at a time. Once granted, the pregnant woman will only be able to receive a new BCG after 12 months of granting the previous BCG, even if there are different pregnancies in this period”, informs the Ministry of Citizenship.
How much will the benefit be for pregnant women?
Clarified who is entitled to the benefit, let's go to the value that the program will make available. Therefore, the value of the scholarship will be R$ 65 per month for each pregnant woman in the family.
