President Jair Bolsonaro signed the provisional measure with actions that speed up the analysis and granting of benefits by the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). The MP is already in extra edition in the Official Gazette of the Union.
One of the measures is the waiver of issuing a conclusive opinion from the Federal Medical Expertise to apply for temporary disability assistance, formerly known as sickness aid. This concession will be made in a simpler way, including a document analysis that is made based on medical certificates and reports.

Public servants who carry out the analysis of the initial application and review of benefits with a legal deadline for its completion that has already expired will also be paid for the excess tasks.
According to the Undersecretariat for Federal Medical Expertise, more than 800,000 appointments for medical expertise may be subject to extraordinary care.
The other change that the MP brought was the inclusion of accident assistance, which is granted in a judicial or administratively, in the catalog of benefits that are subject to periodic medical examination reviews expert. Insured persons who receive accident assistance will also be obliged under penalty of suspension of the benefit, having to undergo a medical examination under the responsibility of Social Security, a process of professional rehabilitation or treatment.
