But what a lot of people don't know is that these dimples are results of genetic errors. The facial muscle of those who don't have any holes is perfect and has no mistakes. Unlike those who have this error, quite cute.

What makes a person have dimples?

What happens is that people who have dimples have muscle that is shorter in length than the normal muscle size of people who don't have dimples.

This is caused because of some flaws in the development of the subcutaneous connective tissue.. But it's not a cause for concern. Dimples are not harmful to health, in fact, many people want this small genetic anomaly.

In addition to the cheeks, dimples can appear on the chins and back.

Why does a person have dimples?

Dimples are linked to a dominant gene, that is, if a parent has dimples, the child will most likely have them, as it is a predominant feature.
