Within just 24 hours of opening Stark Varg sales, Stark Future received over 1,000 orders for examples of its new electric motorcycle model. Selling for 11,900 euros (about R$71,600), that amount represents approximately US$9 million in revenue on the first day alone. However, those who are most looking forward to the novelty will have to be a little more patient, as deliveries of the bike will only take place in March 2023.
The Stark Varg off-road electric motorcycle is a revolutionary product
However, if the new model in the motocross segment fulfills its promise, we could be looking at a revolutionary product. The off-road electric motorcycle guarantees high performance for the section, since it has 80 hp of power and 23.9 kgfm of torque extracted from the electric unit. As a reference, a top 450cc can reach 65 hp and 6 kgfm, for example.
In this sense, having a wide variety of driving modes, those less experienced drivers can adjust the bike so that it is at the level of a 125cc two-stroke, while the more “hardened” off-roaders can change this configuration to compete with a four-stroke machine. 650cc.
Consumers will also be able to set power and torque curves, engine braking, traction control and even align throttle response. Stark combines this cutting-edge technology with a chassis crafted from advanced materials such as magnesium, carbon fiber and aerospace-grade aluminum. Due to the use of these premium elements, the Varg has a similar weight to motorcycles with internal combustion engines, weighing in at just 110 kg.
We can also highlight that the electric motocross can run up to 6 hours in its limited power, or have a battery life of up to 40 minutes if required in more unhealthy conditions. Although details about its charging time have not yet been released, it is estimated to be 1 to 2 hours.
