the indian company
Generally, some consumers have a certain type of prejudice with Indian companies, as it is an underdeveloped country and imagine that their technology is behind European ones. However, the company Ola Electric is growing exponentially in the domestic and foreign markets. The company started building a large factory in 2020 by purchasing Etergo, a Dutch electric motorcycle startup.
Construction has not yet come to an end, but the company aims to be the biggest in the field of electric motorcycles and sustainability. All the trees that were cut down for the construction of the factory are being replanted. With this, Ola Electric establishes a commitment with nature and with consumers, since its motorcycles, so far, are among the cheapest in the electric motorcycle market.
Hello S1
Ola S1 presents two versions for the market. One of them costs around BRL 5,500, containing an 8.5kW electric motor and 5.9 kg/fm torque. This model can reach a speed of 90 km/h in just seven seconds. The other model already costs around R$ 9,200 with a higher power, and reaches a speed of up to 115 km/h.
