However, the single RG is the new documentation model that is available to all Brazilians and will be mandatory from 2023. Meanwhile, you can use the digital version of the document, but this only exists in some Brazilian states. How to download digital RG
To download it is very simple, you just need to have an Android or iOS smartphone device and access the Play Store or Apple Store and search for your state's digital RG app. Once the app is on your cell phone, open it and look for the “Add RG” option to scan the QR Code that is on your physical document.
