To continue our series of posts about recipes and combinations, I brought our sixth suggestion. As we are in December and near christmas, I thought I'd bring you a recipe that has everything to do with that time: sweet cookie recipe.
This recipe, in addition to being delicious, is super practical and versatile, and it's also another one that we can prepare with the children. Grab the Christmas cutters (children's toy cutters are worth) and invite the children to make cookies! These delights can be used as gifts to friends, teachers, grandparents, etc. It will be a party, and they will love to gift their loved ones with something they made!
See how adorable cookies can be in an ornate bag:

Ingredients
2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup cornstarch
200 g butter
1 pinch of salt
1 cup demerara sugar
2 tablespoons of milk or sour cream
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Cornstarch to sprinkle
Preparation mode
Beat the demerara sugar in a blender to make it thinner. Mix all ingredients until you get a homogeneous mass. Let the dough rest for 2 hours. Sprinkle a surface with starch, roll out the dough with a smooth roller until it reaches the desired thickness (it cannot be too thin, ideally around 0.5 cm). Cut the cookies. Bake them in an oven, at 180 ºC, until golden for approximately 30 minutes.
