Its objective is that, when carrying out the transaction via Pix and realizing that he has become the victim of a scam, the individual can be helped by these tools to minimize or reverse the damage.

In such cases, the payer and the owner of the account to which the amount was allocated will be communicated and the money may be “frozen” for a maximum of 72 hours. During this time, the security department will analyze the authenticity of the transfer, and if suspicion is proven, the amount will be refunded.

Special Return Mechanism (MED)
