Why do I have the same dream every night?

The father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, pointed out that dreams are windows into our unconscious. At the same time, spiritism and some strands of esoteric knowledge say that they are spaces where we can receive messages from various beings. With that in mind, it's important to reflect when you have the same dream every night.

This means that there is someone from spirituality who really wants to talk to you. Or else there is something very unresolved in your psyche that needs your attention.

Recurring dream: the same script every night

When the person has the same dreams several times, they are called dreamsrecurrent. Although some of these dreams can be positive, in most cases they have a specific function of alerting you to something. Therefore, they deserve special attention, as they reveal that there is a situation or a fear that is affecting the dreamer and that he cannot overcome.

The unconscious communicates through dreams. Every night you have the opportunity to get in touch with this part of your mind. However, many times the message that the unconscious wants to convey is not heard, and the mind creates other alternatives to be noticed and understood.

What it means?

Understanding dream messages requires attention to detail. Not so much the objects, but the sensations. If you are familiar with free association techniques from psychoanalysis, this is a great way. When you talk or write about what happened while you were sleeping, you may come up with some solution or meaning that will soothe your psyche.

However, if you are one of those who cannot remember your dreams, the task can be a little more complicated. To deal with this, there are two simple ways.

First: it's essential to get a good night's sleep. This not only helps with the health of the body, but also makes it easier to remember the elements of dreams during the night. A rested mind is better able to work on it.

Second: do a concentration technique. After waking up, do not immediately get out of bed, but lie there with your eyes closed, reflecting on the images visualized in the dream.

This practice requires training and dedication, but over time it is possible to remember all the stages of the dream. It is important to write down the elements of dreams in a notebook for later analysis.
