The R$600 portion was guaranteed by current President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) with funds from the Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) of the Transition, approved by Congress.
The president also announced the creation of an additional R$ 150 for children up to six years old, however, deposits should only start in March of this year.
In addition to R$600, this February, Auxílio Gás returned paying 100% of the price of a 13-kilogram gas cylinder, that is, R$112. The program is bimonthly and the last installment was released in December last year.
Around 5.95 million beneficiaries will receive or have already received the gas voucher this month.
According to the original law, at least 50% of the average value of the cylinder was to be paid, but a provisional measure signed by Lula extended the payment of the full amount until December 2023.

Payments to beneficiaries occur at the end of the NIS. All benefits are available for withdrawal for up to 120 days. Check payment dates:
