The main difference is that now, through the service, the partner driver knows the name of the guest, in addition to the information of the person who called Uber. Additionally, the individual you called the car for may also receive the car information on their device.
Uber and security measures
As it is still in the testing phase, at first, only a few cities will have the option of “Guest Travel” available, namely: Fortaleza (CE), Santos (SP), São José dos Campos (SP), Recife (PE), Natal (RN), Sorocaba (SP) and São Louis (MA). This is not the only update that seeks to bring more security and is still being tested on the platform.
