Birds are beautiful birds of different colors that emit specific songs. Thus, the songs of these animals have undergone adaptations over the years, similarly to the language of humans, since all of them have undergone changes.

Bird species that keep the same song
Surely you know that we learn to speak by observing the people around us. With birds, the process is very similar to that of humans, as they learn to sing by watching older birds.
In this way, the songs emitted by the birds are transmitted from one generation to the next, but with the passage of time they undergo changes. However, a recent discovery recorded that there are species that have been able to preserve their song over the years.
The birds “sunbirds”, for example, are a group that brings together about five or six different species, all of which retain their song. That is, these birds, which live in the mountainous regions of West Africa, have had the same song for a million years!
Why do sunbirds keep the same song?
Conventional birds, inhabitants of places that are constantly changing, such as areas that undergo climate and geological changes, tend to change several aspects, including their song. So it's exactly the opposite of what happens with sunbirds.
The hypothesis that explains why sunbirds maintain their song is associated with the environment in which they live. These regions are huge mountains with isolated forests in Africa, called “islands of the sky”, which have changed little over the years.
In this location, the sunbirds live apart and do not have much contact with other species. In this way, all descendants reside in the same area and pass their chant unchanged for several generations.
