With the title “Be selfish with your career – Discover how to put yourself first in your professional journey and reach your personal goals", the book addresses the perceptions of the author, who is also a sales executive at Facebook and a mentor to careers.

Narrative

Another powerful device to get a good professional opportunity is networking. It makes us meet people in our area, which helps us to have access to other opportunities throughout our careers. Thus, networking is a process built throughout its history, without haste, creating professional connections with clients, events and even other professionals we meet on the path. Therefore, the sooner people start building their networking, the better the chances of getting a good placement in the job market.
Another relevant issue is not to be in a hurry to reach the vacancy. Sometimes opportunities come in the long term, so you have to be patient and persevere so that when the opportunity comes, it can be yours. The author concludes by emphasizing that LinkedIn has been proving to be a good option, however, nothing replaces real life, since we are talking about networking.
