Ingredients
To make sweet potato chips you will need:
- 750g of Sweet Potato;
- 1 tablespoon olive oil;
- Kingdom pepper (to taste);
- Oregano (to taste);
- Salt (to taste).
Attention: it is good to control the ingredients to taste and the olive oil, so that your chips are very crispy. That's because excess olive oil can make the potato a little wilted.
But now let's get to the preparations!
Method of preparation
- To make the chips, clean your sweet potato, peel and cut it. The recommended cutting format is that of slices, for better cooking.
- However, make sure the slices are not too thin, as they can easily burn and stick to the pan.
- Now, on a sheet lined with buttered aluminum paper, distribute the spaced potatoes and brush the slices with olive oil.
- Also, brush with the black pepper and the oregano, watching carefully to see if any slice has run out of seasoning.
- Then, put it in the oven, which should already be preheated to 180°C, and let it cook for just fifteen minutes.
- After those initial fifteen minutes, remove the tray and turn the chips so they brown on the other side. Leave 7 to 10 minutes.
- If your oven has ventilation, it will be great, as this way you will get the chips to be more crispy.
- After the additional 7-10 minutes, your chips are ready, crispy and delicious!
You can consume it as a side dish or as a snack to welcome friends.
