Step by step to make vegetable soufflé in the Airfryer

The degree of difficulty of the vegetable soufflé recipe in the Airfryer is considered medium, since it consists of a few steps. On the other hand, the preparation time is short, with a total duration of only 30 minutes.

The recipe in this article yields four servings. However, if you want to prepare a larger quantity, just increase all the ingredients proportionally. See the list of what you will need and how to prepare it below.

Ingredients and method of preparation

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of warm whole liquid milk tea;
  • 2 tablespoons of butter;
  • 1 tablespoon wheat flour;
  • 1 mug of chopped mixed vegetables;
  • 3 separate yolks;
  • 4 tablespoons of grated cheese;
  • 1 teaspoon of salt;
  • 3 separated egg whites;
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg.

Method of preparation:

First, add the butter and wheat flour to a pan, place over low heat and mix well until golden. Then add the hot liquid milk, salt, black pepper, nutmeg and egg yolks, and stir until it starts to thicken.

Then turn off the fire, put the grated cheese and vegetables, mix non stop and book. Now, take a mixer, beat the egg whites and gently join them with the cream containing the vegetables.

Transfer that mass to a refractory that fits in the Airfryer basket. So, open the slow cooker, pack the refractory, close and program the deep fryer for 10 minutes, at a temperature of 160ºC. When the time is up, the soufflé will be golden and risen, so just serve it with your preferred side dish.
