The driver of a Tesla Model 3 vehicle was traveling smoothly at an intersection with a green light, when he was taken by surprise by a pickup truck that pierced the red light on one side.
While trying to make a quick left turn, the driver of a GMC Sierra pickup truck crashed head-on in the front of the Model 3, also hitting another vehicle that was coming in the same direction as the car electric.

All the action was captured by the Tesla's internal cameras, which, despite being busy, had the autopilot system activated. In the images, it is possible to see when the car turns 180º when it is hit by the pickup truck.

Considered one of the safest models in the world, in this case the Tesla Model 3 was not able to reduce the speed or automatically swerve to avoid colliding with the GMC truck, getting hit in full.
The good news is that none of those involved in the accident suffered serious injuries, except for the Tesla driver, who broke his arm, but is doing well.
Upon being informed about the case, Tesla provided contact with a towing service so that the owner of the Model 3 could trigger the insurance. Possibly the situation of the vehicle will be considered as Total Loss (PT).
The video of the accident between the GMC Sierra and the Tesla Model 3 was published on the YouTube channel Wham Baam Teslacam, which stood out precisely for exposing some accidents suffered by cars from Elon's automaker Musk.
