The Central Bank of Brazil decided to teach an online and free course addressing the practice and theory that covers decentralized finance (DeFi). The course will start, according to Canal Tech, from May 6, 2022.
Thus, evidently, it is an initiative of the Laboratory of Technological Financial Innovations (LIFT Learning) of the institution, with the objective of introducing students to the basic tools that will allow a greater understanding of DeFi in a technical and operational way, as well as contextualize them within the universe that revolves around finance and cryptocurrencies.

To be part of the course, just register in the forms through the following link. As far as the course is concerned, it will be divided into two modules, the first being a presentation to fundamentals of the technology underlying DeFi protocols such as blockchain networks and contracts smart. The second module will focus on practical classes to learn how to program in solidity – the language of programming used by the Ethereum network, blockchain leader in contract-based applications smart.
Thus, after finishing the course, students should develop a project based on smart contracts.
