Founded by Jefferson Rueda and Janaína Torres Rueda, the establishment's flagship are excellent pork dishes, such as Pork Tartare or Ossobuço.
In the publication that exposes the best restaurants in the world, it was said that the menu of the place stands out, highlighting the tasting and à la carte options that use different parts of the pig.
However, in addition to dishes based on pork, the restaurant also offers food options to suit all customers, including those who do not like this type of meat.
List price comparisons are made in dollars, where it is pointed out that menu prices are affordable, offering dishes from US$3, about R$14.
The drinks on the menu can also be paired with the meals, providing a more complete and satisfying gastronomic experience. The list also lists special drinks as a positive feature.
The “A Casa de Porco” restaurant has drinks with its own signature, wine list, special beers and organic carbonated drinks.
To maintain the quality of the dishes, the owners of Casa de Porco also own a farm in São José do Rio Pardo. On site they keep different creations.
According to the owners, the idea of the restaurant is not just to offer meals, but to discuss myths about beef pork and bring a new look to Brazilian gastronomy made by small producers and with organic agriculture.
The restaurant's official website points out that "our chefs map and monitor each producer and fight daily to offer quality and more sustainable food".
