During an overnight flight from Cebu, Philippines, to Seoul, South Korea, a passenger began to exhibit strange behavior approximately one hour after takeoff.

In response to this situation, Jeju Airlines officials moved the man to the front row of the plane, next to the exit door, in order to monitor him more closely. The airline reported that the passenger also expressed discomfort, mentioning feeling "pressure" in his chest.

After being transferred to the seats next to the emergency door, the passenger involved in the incident suddenly ran towards the said door and tried to open it during theflight. However, the crew acted promptly and managed to stop the passenger.

Fortunately, the plane's door remained closed and no damage was done to the aircraft during the incident. Furthermore, Jeju Airlines reported that none of the 180 passengers on board were injured.

After landing at Incheon Airport in Seoul on Monday, the 19th, the passenger was handed over to police authorities at 7:30 am local time.

While heading to the arrest warrant hearing last Tuesday, the 20th, the individual involved in the incident spoke incoherently to the media.

In response to reporters' questions about her motive for action, he mentioned feeling he was being attacked. This statement reveals a possible disturbed emotional and mental state during the incident, highlighting the need for further investigation into the incident.

Consequently, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of the passenger, who is being charged with violating the Aviation Safety Act, as reported by the police.
