Uber starts accepting Pix throughout the national territory

As of this Wednesday, May 24th, the company Uber will be widely accepting pix as a form of payment, which can be made directly from the platform, so that there is no need to transfer it to the driver, preserving the personal data of both individuals.

However, only from now on, a larger number of individuals can have access. Curitiba and Recife were the first places to receive the novelty in the country, with access since November last year.

According to information released by the company Uber, the process to carry out the payment via Pix will occur before there is even confirmation. When making payment, you will be asked for a Pix code in order to complete the transaction. This option will give the passenger the opportunity to complete his payment through the bank of his choice. After this process, the trip will be confirmed.

The Pix tool was previously only accepted when recharging Uber Cash credits, but due to the new modification, it bears the full costs of the ride.
