Away (also spelled Awey) is the nickname of Jaime Gil da Costa, a Brazilian comedian born in the city of Petrópolis, hence also known as “Away de Petrópolis”. Other names he is known by are "Gil Brother", "Brother Away" and "Away Nilzer".
As the comedian shouted “away!” on many occasions that became his nickname. The comedian was part of the group “Hermes e Renato”, but after disagreements, in 2011 he created “Canal Away” on the internet, where he performs.
