Carolina Godinho is the author of the @lanchinhos profile and will give tips for healthy and fun snacks.
We know that everyday life is increasingly busy in the lives of parents and guardians, as well as in the lives of children too, but this cannot be an excuse for the children's food to be placed second flat. Therefore, today I will pass Some tips which I find very useful to maintain, in a practical way, a lunch box with variety of carbohydrates, so that the children do not get seasick and do not repeat the same snack very often during the week.

Tip 1 - Make thefreezer an ally
In general, we can freeze breads, cakes, muffins and cheese breads. The secret here is to defrost in the fridge. So whenever you make something your child likes that might turn into a snack, freeze a portion. That way, you'll guarantee a tasty snack on a busy day. By keeping this habit, you will have a good variety of snacks in the freezer. Always remember to put the freezing and/or expiration date. These foods usually last, on average, three months in the freezer, but the ideal is to try to use them before that period.

Tip 2 – Seize the time
Made a meat, chicken, or vegetable for lunch that can serve as a muffin filling? Get a quick and practical recipe (there are some in the IG @snacks), already prepare and freeze one or two servings. I usually buy chicken breast, cook it and shred it in the pressure cooker and freeze it. I always freeze portions for muffins, which helps me a lot in preparing them with chicken stuffing. Very practical!
Tip 3 – Build a menu of snacks and meals
This helps a lot in organizing and using your time, because if you're going to do something in the oven, you can take advantage of the fact that the oven is already hot and bake afterwards, or even bake together, depending on what for. It is also possible to enjoy some ingredient from lunch. This will decrease the chance of missing any ingredients since you've organized yourself earlier.

Tip 4 – Invest in the preparation of cookies
Biscuit is a food that has a good durability if kept in a tightly closed glass. If you're going to make a sweet biscuit, you can separate a part of the dough and add cocoa, so you can already vary the flavor. In a savory biscuit, you can include seeds such as chia, flaxseed, sesame or even grated cheese in a portion of the dough to vary the flavor.
Tip 5 - Make bread and cheese bread
Bread is another very versatile food: if you change the filling, it already has a different flavor. I usually use homemade jams, curd, lettuce and tomato, cheese etc. You can also use the chicken that is shredded and frozen in the freezer and make a pate.
Another practical option is the cheese bread, as usually the recipes are not very laborious and yield well. Make the dough, roll the balls and place on a baking sheet in the freezer. Once frozen, place in a plastic bag. I usually freeze fresh, but it's also good to freeze after roasting.

Tip 6 – Buy ready-to-eat and frozen foods
I've given you some practical and versatile food tips to make, but if you still don't have this time, these options can be bought ready-made, just follow the same tips as the cheese breads already frozen; bakery breads and cakes, which can also be frozen. Always remember to read the labels before purchasing so that you can make a better choice. Don't get carried away by the packaging, who always tells the truth is the label.
