The 2023 edition of Forbes magazine presents the long-awaited Forbes list of Billionaires Brazilians. The prestigious ranking includes 280 rich people, whose personal wealth reaches R$1.522 trillion.
The value represents a significant portion of the Brazilian economy, equivalent to 15.35% of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Brazil, which, according to data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), reached R$9.992 trillion in 2022.

Forbes Agro also carried out an analysis focused on agriculture and agroindustry, including assets arising from the logistics segment that serves the agricultural sector.
This year's list reveals the presence of 61 “agro-billionaires”, whose personal fortune reached R$196.2 billion, representing around 8% of the total on the Forbes list of Brazilian Billionaires for 2023.

This assessment is based on the Agro GDP, calculated at R$ 2.45 trillion by the Center for Advanced Studies in Economics Applied Esalq/USP (Cepea) and covers a production chain, including inputs, agriculture, industry and services.
Forbes Agro also prepared an assessment segmented into eight sectors, highlighting that the areas of grains and meat represent a significant amount, totaling R$71.06 billion in personal fortunes.
