FGTS joins withdrawals via Pix
One of the innovations brought by FGTS Digital is the replacement of the traditional FGTS withdrawal with the more convenient transfer via PIX.
This modern form of withdrawal eliminates the need for workers to travel to a bank branch or request redemption through an app.
Otherwise, the amount will be transferred directly from the company to the worker's account, using the Pix instant payment system, and the money will be available immediately.
Currently, when an employee requests a FGTS withdrawal through the Caixa app, the money can take up to 5 business days to be effectively credited to the informed account.

How to withdraw FGTS via Pix?
This new method has not yet been fully implemented, but workers will soon be able to use this option to redeem their resources quickly and conveniently.
The process will involve the following simple steps:
- Register: The first step is to register a Pix key, which can be your CPF number, cell phone number, email or a requested key. Such information is crucial to identify the worker's account and transfer FGTS resources;
- Request: the worker must inform the company that they wish to withdraw the FGTS via Pix. The company, in turn, transfers resources to the worker's account using the registered Pix key;
- Receipt: After the company completes the transfer via Pix, the FGTS resources will be deposited into the worker's account practically instantly. This way, he can use them according to his needs and preferences.
It is essential to highlight that FGTS withdrawal via Pix will only be available for the methods provided for by law. This includes situations such as unfair dismissal, retirement, purchasing your own home, among other legally indicated categories.
Each type of withdrawal has its own specific criteria, rules and requirements that must be distributed by the worker.
