What to do before and on the day of the Encceja 2023 exams

Brasil Escola talked to professors from TutoriaENEM, an extension project at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) that prepares for Encceja. Educators share tips for candidates.

1) A few days before the tests, review the content that you have difficulty with

History tutor Ramon Moraes points out that a few days before the exam, students can prioritize review of content and topics that are difficult to

, and that this study focuses on the main points, in a summarized way.

Ramon's tip is use notes and summaries made throughout the preparation process.

2) Redo exercises you didn't understand

Redoing exercises in which there was not a good understanding is the tip given by Renan Aguiar, Mathematics tutor, even if he has to copy the step by step to solve the question. For him solving exercises is a good way to fix learning.

3) Try to do fun activities the day before the test

On the day before the Encceja tests, the ideal in Ramon's view is that the participants seek to carry out recreational and leisure activities to ease tensions common due to the exam.

On this day it is good not to study for the tests, "rest and let your brain absorb all the information learned", points out Renan.

4) Organize the mandatory and necessary items for the day of the tests

On test day, wake up early, eat well and try to organize the mandatory and necessary items for the tests, such as:

  • Original document with photo;

  • Black ballpoint pen (try to take more than one);

  • Bottle with water (without labels and transparent);

  • Light snack.

5) Organize yourself to arrive early at the test site

It is important that candidates organize themselves and arrive in advance at the Encceja test site, this helps to avoid nervousness and discomfort, emphasizes Ramon.

6) Start with writing and then solve questions from disciplines that have more affinity

For Ramon it is important that the candidates start solving the test from the writing production and then disciplines that have more affinity.

With this, they tend to gain more time on the exam, calmly solving those that are more difficult.

Another tip given by the tutor is don't stay too long on just one question. "It is worth mentioning that it is not recommended to spend a long time on just one question, 'hammering' and trying to solve it. If you are having doubts or difficulties, leave it aside and try to resolve the other issues. At the end, go back to the question you had difficulties with and try to solve it with a 'cooler head'", he completes.

Do not stop now... There's more after the publicity ;)
