O Title Educa+, launched at an event held at stock Exchange Brazilian (B3), its main objective is to help families secure additional resources to pay for higher education for their young people.

The Educa+
Rogério Ceron, secretary of the National Treasury, expressed his confidence that Educa+ can revolutionize not only the financial stability families, but also the educational sector of the country.
Ceron highlighted that the title aims not only to provide resources, but also to promote financial education within the family.
“Educate+ was created with the intention of strengthening families' financial planning. It is a collective investment that can positively impact the lives of young people and the future of the education sector in Brazil”, declared the secretary.
With a minimum investment of approximately R$30, investors have the opportunity to choose bonds that fit their desired maturity years.
After maturity, the resources are returned to the investor over 60 monthly installments, covering a period of five years, adjusted for inflation and a real rate.
A notable aspect of Educa+ is its flexibility of use. Although it is geared towards educational purposes, the money invested is not restricted to that specific purpose.
This creates more freedom for investors to apply the resources according to their needs. This is an innovative program in Brazil, so expectations are high.
Ceron also shared insights from a study that revealed that most young Brazilians aspire to go to university. However, due to financial constraints, only a quarter of them are able to realize this dream.
Educa+ aims to fill this gap by providing more accessible and viable educational opportunities for Brazilian youth.

At the launch event, new Educa+ features were also announced, which will be implemented from October.
One of them is Collective Investment, allowing several generations of the same family to contribute to a single account earmarked for education.
In addition, the Gift Card will be introduced, which will allow family members to present the child with a contribution to their educational account.
While Educa+ already stands out as an innovative instrument for educational and financial planning for families, experts point out that the real revolution is yet to come.
According to them, it will happen when these joint efforts transform the educational scenario and ensure equal opportunities for all young Brazilians seeking higher education.
