How can parents use AI and technology in their daily lives?
1. Use and abuse of generative AI
O ChatGPT and the Bard aren't just there for you to ask where the nearest steakhouse is. Such generative AIs can indicate various creative and playful activities to teach their children.
They are also able to list some websites about the subject and games for you to play with your little ones.
2. Monitor children's online interactions
Children are naive. As smart as your child may seem, he is still vulnerable to the digital environment. Google and Apple make several tools available to limit screen time and certain apps on children's devices.
In addition, there is Google's Family Link, which can be used to track and control children's online activity. There's even a way to check text messages, media and other features.
3. Use real life situations
Even applying online simulations, it is important to take advantage of real-life examples so that children can use them in their routines.

4. make them think
Children handle the internet better than adults. So, they can be trained from a very early age to think critically about the digital environment, especially regarding the content consumed.
They can reflect, for example, on deepfake technology and even on the use of artificial intelligence.
5. Take advantage of convenient location
Geolocation devices can be used to keep track of where your kids are: at school, at the mall with friends or anywhere else — safe or not.
There are super discreet gadgets that fulfill this function very well, such as Apple's AirTags or some brands of smart watches or applications on smartphones.
6. Increase your home security
Forget what you know about security cameras from the early 2000s. Today, surveillance systems are able to monitor the home 24 hours a day, seven days a week — and you can monitor everything on your cell phone.
Also, some of these software have algorithms that detect when something goes out of routine and alert you to potential dangers.
7. Keep track of your family's health
Smart devices can monitor and report on your health and that of your entire family. It is possible to average heart rate, sleep quality and even check the glucose rate.
