Brief history
The first guideline directed to the electronic point was Ordinance 1510, from 2009. Subsequently, Ordinance 373, of 2011, appeared with the modernization of registration systems. Not long ago, in November 2021, Ordinance 671 was published, with news and new rules.
New rules for point recording according to Ordinance 671
Ordinance 671, of November 8, 2021, refers to a rule that regulates and updates some points of legislation labor, including point registration, whose mandatory compliance was determined for February 10, 2022 in against. So, see which models of electronic time recorders are valid from now on:
1. Conventional Register - REP-C
This is the same equipment previously known as REP (Electronic Time Recorder). Thus, the employer who chooses to acquire the REP-C must keep in mind that he can only register employees of the same employer, except in cases of temporary workers or companies of the same group economic.
2. Alternative Point Recorder - REP-A
This register corresponds to a group of equipment and computer programs, whose objective is the record of the working day, being authorized through convention or collective bargaining agreement work. However, it can only be used while the collective norm that authorized it is in force.
3. Point Recorder by Program - REP-P
REP-P is a new software concept used exclusively for journey registration. In addition, it has the ability to issue documents relating to the employment relationship and to carry out labor tax controls regarding the entry and exit of employees in the workplace.
Proof of time records
The REP-C, as well as the REP-P, must issue or provide forms of access (in printed format or electronic file) to the time attendance receipt in order to collaborate.
Are Ordinances 1510 and 373 still valid?
Both Ordinance 1510 and 373 were revoked, therefore they are no longer valid from the moment they were replaced by Ordinance 671/2021, which from now on is the only source responsible for regulating the control of point.
