The professional in this area must be at least 21 years old, have completed high school and at least two years of qualification in any category, in addition to keeping the driver's license without very serious infractions for a minimum of sixty days before taking the certification.
Upon becoming professional, future driving school instructors receive classes on the fundamentals of education, teaching techniques, Portuguese language, traffic, traffic medicine, defensive driving, notions of first aid, notions of protection and respect for the environment, notions of social interaction in traffic, basic mechanics, psychology applied to traffic safety, operation of vehicles with two and four wheels, vehicle driving practice, in addition to the internship supervised.
Through the Driving School Instructor course, the professional also learns vehicle maintenance techniques, in with a view to guiding CNH candidates on possibilities for saving, preserving and increasing the useful life of parts and equipment.
