Building your own tastes and preferences often takes time. As we live, we go through experiences that move us away from or bring us closer to things and people. Feeling attracted to someone, for example, depends on this constructive process, in which, naturally, people relate to others who are closer to their preferences.
Even individuals from the same generations can have similar preferences, and, to prove this, a survey revealed the type of man preferred by women of the same age group. generation Z.

Research reveals what type of men Gen Z women are most attracted to
The survey “Bumble’s State of The Nation 2023” consisted of asking US women who are part of Generation Z (born between 1990 and 2010) about the ideal type of man. The result was surprising and raised interesting questions about male and female roles in a relationship.
Men who 'run' the relationship
According to the survey, the profile of the man who takes the lead in the relationship is ideal for 40% of the women interviewed. In other words, the dominant male attracts most Gen Z women. In fact, just over 10% of them support the idea that the role of taking initiatives should be performed by women.
Why is the survey result surprising?
As generation Z is more connected and focused on progressive issues aimed at a more egalitarian society, the choice for dominant men drew attention. The discussion about gender equality is a very present agenda in the universe of generation Z, and many women with this type of preference cause astonishment.
Old-fashioned relationship seems to be perpetuated from generation to generation
As much as Gen Z's opinions, in general, tend to be far less conservative than those of previous generations, some subjects seem to maintain their roots.
Men have long been taught that they are the ones who should take the initiative in a relationship, playing a leadership role. As for women, they grew up prepared to wait for a man's initiative, and this was passed down from generation to generation, becoming a standard.
