The Ministry of Education (MEC) released the schedule for the Student Loan Fund (faithful) 2020/1. The deadline for registration begins on February 5th and continues until the 10th of the same month. The result is scheduled for February 26th.
Those interested in participating in the Fies selection process must have taken the National High School Examination (Enem), as of 2010. In addition, the average must be 450 or greater.

Ministry of Education releases first call for Prouni 2023
For the Zero Interest modality, the candidate needs a maximum income of three minimum wages per person. As for the P-fies modality, the interest is according to the bank and to apply, the income must be up to five minimum wages per person.
Changes in Fies
Fies will undergo some changes, which will be valid from the first half of 2020. Therefore, one of the main changes is the non-obligation to take the Enem for the P-Fies modality.
In addition, P-Fies will undergo other changes, such as the end of maximum income and, from the second half of 2020, new contracts can be signed at any time of the year, therefore, this selection will be separated from the faithful.
In 2020, the last edition will be held with the offer of 100,000 vacancies. For the next two years, 54 thousand opportunities are foreseen. Finally, minimum debts of R$ 10,000 will be charged in court, while smaller amounts will continue in the administrative part.
