MEC qualification for early childhood teachers
The course modules have some topics for each theme, namely: presentation, contextualization and discussion. In addition, complementary materials are available, as well as suggestions for activities to be carried out in the classroom. If you want to sign up, just click here.
In the first module, the course addresses the socio-emotional development of children and discusses readiness for reading and writing. The second module addresses the pillars of education and the importance of learning to live together.
The third topic is related to the fundamental aspects of language and communication in the period from 0 to 5 years. On the other hand, the fourth module covers questions about toys, games and games, and also talks about the meaning of ludic activities.
The fifth theme of the course deals with children's protagonism and the establishment of bonds for early childhood education and learning. Finally, the sixth and last module is about the transition from kindergarten to elementary school.
Target Audience
The target audience are professionals who work in day care centers and preschool institutions, with the aim of promoting more creative and theoretically grounded pedagogical practices. The approach of the course, in all modules, considers the three age groups referring to preschool and corresponding to these fields of experience.
Assessment method and certificate
Completion of modules occurs as fixation activities are performed. Therefore, it is necessary to complete the activities of all modules, including the assessment. In addition, the minimum grade to pass the course is 6 points.
As for the certificate, it is a document that contains information about the workload, programmatic content, period of completion of the course and performance of the participant. You can download it by selecting the “Certificate” option, which is in the course menu.
