Sport Value is a sports marketing agency that has already carried out three surveys about the value of Brazilian clubs. In the third, the most current, are the most successful teams in recent years, such as Flamengo and Palmeiras, in addition to traditional clubs, although with a smaller number of achievements. Clube de Regatas had an increase of 41% compared to the 2021 study, surpassing its rival Palmeiras and ranking first.

Search criteria

The report runs to more than 100 pages and uses established criteria to assess a club's worth, such as:

Asset and current value: money contained in banks, investments, financial applications and that you will receive;
brand value: refers to the club's market value, representing the direct consumption of products. The size of the crowd, the geographic reach of the club and the historical and current relevance are taken into account. It also takes into account the potential for investment in players and in the sport sectors;
Fixed value: this refers to the value of club properties, such as the stadium, training centre, vehicles and the like;
player value: one of the main items, as it evaluates the value of the players and the club's expenses with the base;
sporting rights: this item concerns the club's contract rights, with the invoicing of competitions and championships that participate.

  2. Palmeiras: BRL 3.4 billion;
  3. Atlético-MG: BRL 3.127 billion;
  4. Corinthians: BRL 2.991 billion;
  5. International: BRL 2.314 billion;
  6. São Paulo: BRL 2.214 billion;
  7. Athletico-PR: BRL 2.094 billion;
  8. Santos: BRL 1.415 billion;
  9. Grêmio: BRL 1.407 billion;
  10. Fluminense: BRL 1.399 billion.
