The Official Gazette of the Union published this Thursday, April 27, the announcement of the Navy's new public tender. There are 42 vacancies available for candidates from different areas, including:
- Medicine – 25 posts
- Dentistry – 4 posts
- Nursing – 1 post
- Pharmacy – 1 post
- Physiotherapy -1 post
- Nutrition – 1 post
- Engineering – 4 positions
- Administration, Accounting or Economics – 5 positions

The initial remuneration during the training period is BRL 9,000. In addition, candidates are also entitled to a uniform, food and medical-dental, psychological, social and religious assistance.
Upon graduation, the remuneration rises to approximately R$12,000, according to the Armed Forces salary table.
How to register for the new Navy competition?
Applications for the contest can be made from June 7th until the 25th of the same month, on the Navy career page (Click here!). The registration fee is R$140.
According to Law nº 13.656, of April 30, 2018, the following may request exemption from the registration fee:
- Candidates whose family is registered in the Single Registration for Social Programs (CadÚnico);
- Candidates whose per capita monthly family income is less than or equal to half the minimum wage;
- Bone marrow donor candidates registered in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health.
Exemption requests can be made between the 7th and 13th of June.
The contest will take place on the 27th of August.
Graduation course
It is important to remember that all those approved will undergo a training course at the Almirante Wandenkolk Instruction Center (Ciaw), located in the city of Rio de Janeiro (RJ). This will only happen from April 29, 2023, according to the public notice published in the Official Gazette.
