Capes has opened enrollment to compete for specialization scholarships in education. The course will be held at Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, Ireland. Directors, coordinators and pedagogical supervisors who work in basic education schools can participate.
They can work in the public network, private non-profit and in military colleges. The course takes place from June 2019 to May 2020. It aims to promote the training of professionals who work in the pedagogical management of schools.

Registration has been open since April 16th and will continue until 6 pm on May 30th. Up to 30 spaces will be available. There are six vacancies for each Brazilian region.
Requirements
To compete for one of the vacancies, the candidate must meet all the requirements of the public notice. Among them, having obtained the minimum score established for the English language proficiency test. They must also have a bachelor's degree and be in the position of director, coordinator or pedagogical supervisor.
The candidate must be Brazilian, or a foreigner with a permanent visa in Brazil.
Interested parties must prepare a work project to improve pedagogical management. He must be based on his own professional experience and the socio-educational reality of the school unit in which he works. You must also have a valid passport until September 2020, at least.
In order to register, the candidate must previously update his/her CV on the Capes electronic platform. There, the interested party must provide all the information regarding their academic background and their professional performance in basic education.

The selection will be carried out in three stages. The first, of an eliminatory nature, comprises the verification of participation requirements and mandatory documents. The second stage, of a classificatory nature, consists of classifying the candidates according to the score obtained by the curriculum and project presentation.
The third and final stage refers to the verification that the classified candidate presented, within the deadline, a copy of the valid passport and proof of proficiency with the minimum grade required.
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive support to participate in the specialization course in education, which will last 12 (twelve) months. Among the benefits granted are:
- Round-trip international airfare in promotional economy class.
- Installation aid worth € 1,300.00 (one thousand three hundred euros).
- Persistent allowance of € 400.00 (four hundred euros) per month.
- Travel in Ireland: airport/university/airport.
- Accommodation in Mary Immaculate College facilities.
- Tuition fees and course materials.
