Before the announcement was officially made by the folder, the president of Caixa Econômica Federal, Daniella Marques, had previously spoken about this new modality in a press conference.
Even if the loan comes to help the families of the program, the beneficiaries can have up to 40% of the amount receive monthly from the government, that is, up to R$ 160 will be confiscated from the total amount of R$ 600 during a period of up to 24 months. Remembering that the R$ 600 will return to R$ 400 soon.
How much will be discounted and until when will only depend on the contract signed between the beneficiary and the bank.
Daniella also pointed out that this option is especially recommended for those who have interest-bearing debts. very high, in order to remedy the loss, as well as for beneficiaries with the desire to invest in businesses own.
consignment regulation
According to the rules created by the ministry, the maximum number of installments to pay off the loan amount will be 24. The interest charged will not exceed 3.5% per month. These fees can be discussed with the participating banks, as long as the interest rate does not exceed the 3.5% that were defined.
For the program, charges such as the Credit Opening Fee (TAC), administrative fees and the grace period for initiating the payment of installments will be prohibited for this payroll loan. It was also agreed that, although there is a chance that the citizen will undergo a cancellation of the program, the loan will continue according to the previously signed contract.
The difference is that the person will have to organize themselves to be able to pay the installments, since the amount will no longer be deducted from the benefit. At first, the loan installments will be deducted directly from the payroll. This measure guarantees the participating banks the certainty that the installments will be settled.
When the beneficiary signs the contract, it is up to the bank to explain all the conditions of the consignment.
