The “no bag”
According to her mother and teacher, Jen Cimato, this tradition started when her daughter was very small and the two would go shopping together.
The little girl always saw certain items, such as sweets, toys and others in the market and other stores, however, the mother used to deny the requests that the daughter made. Hence the idea: "Once a year I get all the items she wanted that I would normally say no to and put them in a bag for her birthday."

Benefits of the idea
Cimato says that the idea made shopping a lot easier, as this is a great way to avoid the frustration of the child when receiving a “no” for something he really wants to win. The mother adds that, even after her daughter's 16th birthday, she still hoped to receive the bag on her birthday, even though she didn't ask for so many things.
