How to withdraw PIS/Pasep from previous years?

The deadline for recovering the “forgotten” amounts was set for February, but the government extended it to start on March 31. It is important to note that this lot differs from the one released this year, which is based on the year 2020, and whose payment schedule began on February 8, with a deadline of December 29.

How to withdraw?

To have access to the “forgotten” salary allowance, the worker must make a remission request. In this sense, the procedure can be done in two ways. The first is face-to-face, in which the individual must go to a regional unit of the Ministry of Labor with a photo ID. The second way is to send the request via email to [email protected] (where “uf” must be replaced by the abbreviation of the state of residence).

The deadline to withdraw the remission request is May 29. However, if this is not done within this period, it will be necessary to wait for the next year to apply again.

How to check the value of PIS/Pasep?

To find out if the worker is entitled to the amount of the salary allowance for a given year, he must call the number 158 or enter the Digital Work Card application. The app in question is available for Android and iOS systems.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that, for those who already have the app on their cell phone, it is important to update it to have access to all the information correctly.
