How to make yogurt cake?
Ingredients:
To make this cake, you'll need some very simple and common cake batter ingredients that you probably already have at home. Write down:
- 4 eggs;
- 200 ml of oil;
- 2 cups (tea) of sugar;
- 2 cups (tea) wheat flour;
- 1 tablespoon (soup) of chemical yeast;
- 200 ml of natural yogurt.
Remembering that you can use the natural yogurt of your choice. If you prefer, there is the possibility of replacing refined sugar with demerara sugar. It is also delicious!
Method of preparation:
Now, with all the ingredients separated, let's prepare it, which, as you'll see, is simple, in a way that any amateur cook can do.
Start by placing the eggs, yogurt, oil and sugar in the blender, and let it beat for 3 to 5 minutes, until the mixture is very homogeneous. Then pour the dough into a bowl. At this point, you will add the wheat flour and baking powder, and mix by hand. It is not necessary to stir a lot, just until these ingredients are fully incorporated into the mixture and the dough is smooth.
Then pour the dough onto a floured platter. Use a 25 cm mold with a hole in the middle. Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 180°C. Let the cake bake for 35 minutes and then do the toothpick test to see if it's already done.
