Leila, a public school student in São Paulo, even reported recently that she ended up without a math teacher for about 1 year and 4 months. It is worth mentioning that she was not the only one who went through this, as we have already received many reports from several students who went through very similar situations.
Some are in an almost identical context for a month, others for about two months. We also know of occasions when students have been without teachers in a particular subject for most of high school.
This is a problem that has caused panic, especially when it comes to learning. In the case of the aforementioned young woman, she ended up completely losing confidence and chose not to enroll in this year's entrance exams, as she believes she is not prepared to compete with the others.
People believed for a long time that the problems boiled down to the gaps that appeared when something teacher retired or ended up asking for leave for whatever reason, as he needs to to move away. Some don't even attend classes regularly, especially at the beginning of each year. School management ends up finding it very difficult when it becomes necessary to cover schedules with another professional.

The great devaluation that workers end up suffering, where they do not even have a national career that is in accordance with what is shown to be necessary, is the main factor for this mass demotivation of acting. The low wages and disrespect that grows along with violence in the school environment also weigh heavily.
Another point that ended up hurting teachers even more was the pandemic, as the period in question only made the difference between being a teacher – who usually also needs to reconcile her performance with domestic duties – and being a teacher, who often has support in House.
And you, what do you think of the situations presented? What is your opinion on the topic?
