Millennial parents prefer to watch movies

The survey brought together more than 2,000 respondents born between 1981 and 1995, therefore famous “millennials” who already have children between the ages of 2 and 12. In this case, the main interest was to know the behavior of these parents in routine and common situations, as is the case, for example, of sadness.

At this specific point, the response was practically homogeneous, since four out of five parents gave the same answer. This means that 82% of millennials seek to remedy the sadness that arises in everyday life through their favorite movies. In addition, many of them also cited the

series as a good alternative.

Another important point to highlight is that this is also the “medicine” to combat the discomfort that these parents may eventually feel in cases of indisposition or illness. So, just put on a good movie and relax as much as possible, and any cold that attacks a generation Y parent is fought.

Millennials' favorite movies

In addition to identifying the main behavior of Generation Y parents when they are sad, the research went further and sought to identify which are the favorite works for these occasions. The result showed that the majority prefer to watch an adventure film, such as The Hunger Games or the fantasy saga Harry Potter.

Other names emerged and were also surprising, since they are known as “children's” films. Were you curious? Well, most parents also mentioned “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, “Frozen”, the series “Toy Story” and “Moana”. Especially if their children are with them in those moments of indisposition.
