Step by step to prepare microwave spoon cocada
The spoon cocada recipe in the microwave does not generate mess in the kitchen and is simple to make, with an easy degree of difficulty. However, the total preparation time is 1 hour and 20 minutes, as the wait for the coconut to cool is about 60 minutes.
Also, the recipe yields 12 servings. But if you want to make more or less cocada, just increase or decrease the ingredients proportionally. Check out the necessary items, preparation method and tips below.
Ingredients:
- 1 can or box of condensed milk;
- 2 cups of grated fresh coconut tea;
- ½ cup of milk tea;
- 2 units of cloves;
- 1 piece of cinnamon stick.
Method of preparation:
First, take a deep refractory container with high edges and add all the ingredients for the cocada. Then place the container in the microwave and turn on the device at high power for seven minutes.
When the time is up, remove the container from the microwave and mix well using a wooden spoon. Now, set aside the preparation and let it cool down a bit.
Then take it to the fridge for about an hour. Once the coconut is cold, remove the cloves and the piece of cinnamon stick, divide the sweet into 12 cups and serve!
extra tips
To know the right point of the cocada, just compare it to the brigadeiro, as it must be firm and detach from the bottom of the container. Despite removing the cloves from the cocada with a spoon, you can serve it decorated with this element, if you wish. In addition, once ready, this sweet lasts for a maximum of five days and must be stored in well-closed containers or wrapped in plastic film.
Finally, if you prefer a more consistent sweet, put it on medium heat and stir well until it reaches the right point. Then, pour the mixture onto a buttered countertop and spread it out, letting the treat cool to room temperature before slicing it.
