Netflix doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to anime adaptations. Just remember Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist. A creative teaser trailer for its newest adaptation, Cowboy Bebop, has already divided opinion.
Here's Netflix's synopsis: "Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed western about three bounty hunters, otherwise known as 'cowboys', all trying to escape their past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir) and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a clumsy and sarcastic team ready to hunt down the most dangerous criminals in the solar system - for the price. right. But they can only do so before their past finally catches up with them.”

In 2001, Sunrise also produced Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, which received mostly positive reviews.
All 10 episodes of Cowboy Bebop are set to hit Netflix on November 19th. The 26 episodes of the original 1998 anime series are also on Netflix.
