Understand the Kaizen concept and how to apply it to child rearing

The Japanese cultivate the understanding that by cultivating small, meaningful habits, there is a ripple of positive results. This understanding agrees with several social studies that claim that some so-called simple attitudes can have a great impact on children's lives. This is because children understand much more through attitudes and situations than through words. In this way, it is possible to think about some care with the routine that will help in the task of raising children. Check out some of them here:

  • Notice when your children are sad

Parents should always be an available resource for their children's emotional support and that means noticing when they are upset and listening to them. However, be subtle and always offer your ears when they want to talk, without, however, forcing them to do so. Here the important thing is to build a relationship where they feel good to vent.

  • Look your children in the eyes

Still understanding the need to be there for the children, you must understand that the time to listen to them is very important. So don't divide your attention with anything else when they want to talk, and look them in the eye, be responsive to let them know you care.

  • start the day right

How we start the day doesn't always dictate how it will end, but certainly starting the day with good humor and affection is a great way to get into the cycle. Thus, prioritize morning moments, such as breakfast and conversations at the table, so that your children are more willing to start the day.

  • Avoid yelling at children

This is certainly a challenge for the vast majority of parents, as parenting can be quite difficult at times. Still, think long and hard before yelling at your children, as this moment leaves marks on children. On the other hand, always consider dialogue, even with more emphasis, to discuss what is wrong.
