Bridgerton's second season recordings have already come to an end and fans of the series can't wait for the premiere. The first season was a complete hit on Netflix when it premiered in December 2020. This guaranteed the series 4 more seasons and a spin-off, to the happiness of the fans.
Season 2 recordings were completed last Sunday (21), information confirmed by series showrunner Chris Van Dusen. The same published a photo celebrating with the new protagonists of the series: Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma) and Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton).

How will this new season be?
First of all, it is worth noting that this season will adapt the events of the book “O Visconde Que Me Amava” focusing on his brother Anthony Bridgerton and his new quest for love.
Who will rock the viscount's structures is an intelligent young woman with a strong personality, Kate Sharma, who is looking for the best suitor for her younger sister, Edwina (Charithra Chandran).
In addition to the return of Jonathan Bailey as Anthony, we will also have the rest of the cast who play the others. Bridgerton family members like Phoebe Dynevor, who will reprise her role as Daphne, who promises to be more active on the Serie.

Simon Basset will not appear
To the sadness of many, the Duke of Hastings will not appear in this 2nd season, as the actor Regé Jean-Page who plays this character did not want to return to the series.
He stated that he entered the series to participate in a lovely and closed story, reiterating, however, the desire to end his partition.
Bridgerton's screenwriter, Shonda Rhimes, praised the actor's attitude and reveals that she has a special affection for him.
However, many fans wondered how the series will explain the Duke's absence, since in the first season this character was very important and his wife, Daphne, has already been confirmed for the new season.
But the answer lies precisely in the series' plot change, which will focus on other characters as mentioned above.
However, we can hope for Regé's return as the premiere of the second season will probably increase the popularity of the series even more, which has a few more seasons confirmed.
