Countries that are receiving unvaccinated tourists against Covid-19
- Greece
Every traveler intending to visit Greece will have to fill in the Passenger Location Form the day before their arrival. According to the country's health department, such a form will explain in detail about the place of departure of passengers and also the duration of previous stays in other countries. In addition, everyone will be required to submit a negative Covid-19 test result obtained within 72 hours of arriving in Greece.
Furthermore, the Greek government clarified on its official website: “The entry of tourists to Greece is not subject to vaccination. The presentation of the vaccination certificate greatly facilitates the procedures upon arrival. However, in no case is a certificate of vaccination or antibodies considered a passport.”
- Portugal
Portugal is another country that is open to visitors who are not vaccinated, as long as they can prove they are not infected with the virus when entering the country. According to the Portuguese health department, tourists will be required to show proof of a PCR test negative that was taken within 72 hours of their arrival, or up to 48 hours if they have taken the antigen. In addition, they will also have to answer a questionnaire before departure.
- Mexico
Currently, Mexico does not require visitors to provide a negative PCR test or quarantine upon arrival. However, travelers will have to fill out a form in advance and show the form's QR code when entering the country. Additionally, resorts may have guests complete a health questionnaire upon check-in.
- maldives islands
Upon arrival in the Maldives, all visitors must present a negative PCR test. Such test and its certificate must have been issued up to 96 hours before departure from the country of origin. Furthermore, although fully vaccinated tourists do not need to undergo quarantine, those who do not have the updated vaccination schedule will have to self-isolate for 14 days and perform an exit test before leaving Quarantine.
- Türkiye
Unvaccinated tourists can also enter the country, but they must follow certain rules. As a result, travelers need to provide proof of a negative PCR test that was taken 72 hours before arriving. Another option is to prove that you have had a rapid antigen test within 48 hours of your arrival.
Furthermore, visitors can also prove that they have recovered from Covid-19 within the last six months to visit Turkey. In addition, upon arrival, a completed form must be submitted 72 hours prior to travel and undergo a medical screening.
