Servers from Minas Gerais will have free access to therapy

“Taking care of mental health is essential, and the program seeks to facilitate server access to a service that is often expensive and unavailable in their region. The service has no connection with the area of medical expertise. It is an initiative aimed entirely at the well-being and health of employees, with total confidentiality guaranteed”, said Marcela Mattar de Sá, Central Director of Occupational Health at Seplag-MG.

For servers, the service may last from six to 12 months, depending on the particular need. The sessions will be held with interns from psychology from Faminas-MG, in order to qualify them for the job market and to help state employees who need help.

The service will be provided in person for workers residing in Belo Horizonte, where the university is located. For other regions, the service will be completely online.
